Isatis Overview

ISATIS is the fruit of 40 years’ experience in the industrial application of geostatistics and applied geostatistical research and is the REFERENCE in geostatistics. It offers an exclusive range of proven methodologies providing you with the best expected results.

More than 1000 ISATIS licenses have been distributed all around the world since the initial version was launched in 1993.

ISATIS is the only commercial professional package which offers easy access to all proven geostatistical techniques within a user-friendly interface.

Interface Isatis v9 (JPEG)

Today, ISATIS is widely used the world over by more than 300 private Oil & Gas and Mining Companies, consultancy teams and environmental agencies, and benefits from the expertise of a broad network of research centers.

Use of a weight variable in order to perform declustered calculations.
Statistics by geographic area. Box-plot representation.
Variogram regularization. Histogram modeling: anamorphosis function modeling, global support correction/information effect, grade-tonnage curves.
Global trend modeling.
Data variables handling.

- Faults Management
Handling of 2D or 3D faults in variogram calculations and search neighborhood.

- Variography
2D/3D isotropic and directional variogram, identification of directions and scales of continuity through unique 3D interactive variogram map. Anisotropy modeling (PDF - 95.5 kb).
Variogram on large grids.

System Requirements

ISATIS is available on:
- SUN / Solaris 10 (or above) (64 bit)
- PC Intel/AMD / Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista (32-bit or 64-bit)
- PC Intel/AMD / Linux RedHat Enterprise 4 (or above) or equivalent (32-bit or 64-bit).

ISATIS is developed and certified for the above versions of operating systems, however the application also runs on more recent system upgrades.

The following computer resources are required for ISATIS:
- UNIX/Linux: 512 Mb-RAM & 200 Mb of disk space for installation
- Windows: 512 Mb-RAM, 200 Mb of disk space, Pentium 1 Ghz and Exceed 10.0 (or above) from Hummingbird .

License System

ISATIS makes use of a "software" license which is encrypted with the hostid number of a "Server" computer.

On PC Windows, ISATIS can be installed in standalone mode and is attached to one particular computer. Isatis can also be installed with a "floating" license to be shared over the local network. Network licenses can handle one or more concurrent users and heterogeneous platforms (Unix, Linux, Windows).
Dongle-based licensing is also available on Windows.

The application always runs on the local computer, the network is only used to get access to a "License Manager" service which is running on the server.
