This paper presents the whole methodology for the follow-up of site characterization and remediation projects, from initial survey up to verification of the decontamination process, in order to get to a better assessment of the residual contamination. These solutions have been successfully applied on more than 100 sites over the past few years and constitute key elements to optimize the estimation of contaminated volumes and minimize the cost of the remediation process.
