System Requirements

System Requirements Isatis can be installed either in standalone mode or over a network and may be used either on PC Windows or Linux, or on SUN Solaris, sharing the same database across these systems.

Isatis is available on:

  • SUN/Sparc, Sun Solaris 10+ (or above) (64 bit)
  • PC Intel/AMD / Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • PC Intel/AMD / Linux RedHat Enterprise 4 (or above) or equivalent (32-bit or 64-bit).

The Windows version of Isatis requires the PC X server Exceed:

  • For Windows 2000, XP, Vista: Exceed 10+
  • For Windows XP 64 and Vista 64: Exceed 2007+ (Exceed 12).
  • For Windows 7: Exceed 14.

Isatis is developed and certified for the above versions of operating systems, however the application also runs on more recent system upgrades.

The following computer resources are required for Isatis:

  • UNIX/Linux: 512 Mb-RAM & 200 Mb of disk space for installation
  • Windows: 512 Mb-RAM, 200 Mb of disk space, Pentium 4, 1 Ghz and Exceed (see above) from Open Text.

Note: Isatis is now making use of specific SSE2 processor instructions in order to boost its performances, however these instructions are not implemented on old generations of processors. The list of compatible / non-compatible processors is to be found on the following webpage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSE2.
