Isatis version 10.0 makes you benefit from a unique technology that gets even closer to your needs:
- innovative automated 3D variogram modeling for improved efficiency
- new state-of-the art algorithms for refined resource estimation
- even more parallel processing for higher performances.

- Isatis 10.0 improves your efficiency

  • Be confident in the quality of your models when fitting variograms in batch mode

    • Exclusive to Isatis!
You may initialize your variogram model with an intelligent automatic fitting in each direction and for each variable using Isatis exclusive automated multivariate 3D variogram fitting.

      (1) Model initialization with 3 structures in 2 directions : spheric + cubic + nugget
      (2) Omnidirectional model initialization with 2 structures : 1 spheric + 1 cubic
  • Easily display multi-million cell grids in Isatis 3D Viewer

    • The new object Grid Sections enables the visualization of three specified sections (parallel to the grid main planes) instead of the whole grid.

Display of a grid of 3.2 Gb with 868 millions of nodes as Grid Sections in the 3D Viewer
    • Besides, a horizontally and vertically differentiated decimation process allows to quickly load huge grids in the 3D Viewer.

- Isatis 10.0 provides new features to refine your estimation

  • Fully assess the spatial behavior of your variables

    • The EDA application now allows you to refine the experimental variogram lags at small distances, which helps you better analyze the small scale spatial correlation.
    • The histogram of pairs can be added in the interface for each variogram direction. This provides you with an additional QC tool to check the experimental variogram quality.
    • The EDA interface ergonomics has been improved so that you can value the parameters more efficienciently.
  • Improve input data quality for a more accurate estimation

    • The new Regularization by Domain enables to achieve advanced sample compositing. At the end of the process, you are sure that the limit between two regularized samples coincides with a domain boundary.

  • Benefit from Isatis’ exclusive multivariate non-linear geostatistics

    • Exclusive to Isatis!
You may now apply some of the new state-of-the-art algorithms resulting from the M2RC project which extend the change of support model (discrete gaussian model) to multivariate case for:

      • Global recoverable resource calculation,
      • Local recoverable resources estimation by multivariate Uniform Conditioning (you will now be able to estimate the local recoverable resources of a secondary mineral according to a cut-off applied to the main economic mineral),
      • Direct Block Simulations with Turning Bands method.

- Isatis 10.0 offers performances up to 30 times faster!!

  • The new Direct Block Simulations resulting from M2RC makes you experience an outstanding reduction in computation time.
  • In addition to the kriging and Turning Bands simulations on points and grid, the Sequential Gaussian Simulations and the Sequential Indicator Simulations now also benefit from parallel algorithms.
  • The Image Filtering application has been developed again to make use of Fast Fourier Transform.

- Isatis 10.0 helps get the most out of data

  • The new Selection from Surfaces provides you with an additional way to build domains.
  • You may finely tune the calculation parameters to your input data by visualizing the objects you specified in Isatis 3D Viewer: rotations, directions, 3D grids, ellipsoids of anisotropy.

  • New import and export interfaces with Roxar’s RMS allow you to quickly exchange data between both software packages (specific license available in Sept. 2010).
