RML™ - ISATIS Link
The direct link between IFP Group (Institut Français du Pétrole) 3D modeling package RML™ and ISATIS significantly enhances productivity by facilitating data transfer, ISATIS being a natural extension of the RML™.
RML-Heresim™, a module of the Reservoir Modeling Line (RML™) of the IFP Group marketed by Beicip-Franlab, was the first geomodeling tool to be linked with ISATIS many years ago.
Thanks to this alliance, users have been exploring the advantage of building RML™-ISATIS flexible workflows to better honor the geological settings they are studying. Keeping geology upfront is definitely the key to integrate the structural, stratigraphic and well data into a single robust reservoir model.
In addition to build-in algorithms of RML™, ISATIS enlarges RML™ simulation capabilities to an even larger set of geostatistical methods to populate high resolution 3D grids.
