Isatis.py training – Module 1: Introduction to Python
The course is an introduction to Python coding. There are five more.
Objectives
Focus on introducing Python and demonstrating how our solutions integrate with the language.
Module content
- Working in a Python Environment: Introduction to Anaconda and Python.
- Variables and Arrays: How to define variables and arrays for easy application to various domains or datasets.
- Control Flow: Creating loops for automation across different domains or variables; conditional branching.
- Using Python to Manage Simple Tasks: Recording tasks to repeat specific calculations as input data is updated or for auditing purposes.

It is important to note that this training course is made of a series of 5 modules.
- Module 2: Exploratory Data Analysis
October 11th, 2024 – 3 hours
Focus on diving in Exploratory Data Analysis, how to explore data completely.
- Module 3: Kriging
October 15th, 2024 – 3 hours
Focus on mastering kriging using Isatis.py. - Module 4: Continuous simulations
October 17th, 2024 – 3 hours
Focus on mastering uncertainty quantification using Isatis.py. - Module 5: Multivariate estimation
October 23rd, 2024 – 3 hours
Focused on mastering multivariate estimation using Isatis.py. - Module 6: Indicators estimation and simulations
October 25th, 2024 – 3 hours
Focus on mastering indicators, and categorical variables using isatis.py. Plurigaussian simulations and Sequential Indicator simulations applications are exercised.

Geologists, geoscientists, environmental engineers, anyone wishing to gain the skills needed to start using Python to analyze their data and to build simple procedures.
Prerequisites
This course is an introduction. Prior knowledge of scripting or Python is not required to participate.
