1986

Foundation

Founded by three engineers from the Center for Geostatistics at Mines ParisTech, the birthplace of geostatistics, Geovariances set out with one mission: to turn cutting-edge research into practical solutions for the real challenges of the mining, energy, and environmental sectors.

1993

Isatis

Release of the first version of Isatis, which became the global reference software for applied geostatistics. Built on the direct collaboration with Mines ParisTech, Isatis set the methodological standard still used by the industry today.

2010

Kartotrak

A collaboration with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) led to the development of Kartotrak, the first integrated geostatistics-based solution for contaminated site and nuclear facility characterization.

2017

Isatis.neo

A complete architectural rebuild of Isatis into a modern, high-performance platform, featuring machine learning integration, Python connectivity, and preconfigured industry workflows for Mining, Petroleum, and environmental applications.

2022

Datamine Group

Geovariances strengthens the Datamine portfolio by bringing world-class geostatistical expertise to a complete suite of mining modeling and resource characterization solutions.

2024

Isatis.py
