CEA mobile unit VEgAS and Kartotrak – Real time data acquisition and mapping

This video is meant to show you how Kartotrak, all-in-one software solution for contaminated site characterization, and CEA mobile unit VEgAS (vehicle for radio-contaminated site investigation and contamination mapping) complement each other perfectly for efficient real time data acquisition and processing of soil contamination data.

This vehicle/software combination allows a fast characterization of an entire site either for a quick preliminary contamination mapping before remediation or to check the site compliance with remediation objectives after remediation.

The video particularly demonstrates how VEgAS and Kartotrak can be implemented in the case of a nuclear post-accidental situation to quickly and interactively map radiological irradiation doses to help the decision-making process.
