“The 2-day mentoring session I’ve got with Geovariances consultants was a very worthwhile experience and it helped clarify several questions I had regarding the plurigaussian simulations. The work that they and I were able to accomplish moved me well on my way to integrating this method into our 3D geologic mapping study in Northeastern Illinois.

I also want to mention that I appreciate the professionalism and sensitivity to my project objectives that Geovariances consultants showed in our meetings. Knowing the depth in expertise of Geovariances, before my trip I was a little concerned that gaps in my theoretical training might be a problem. They were very adept at being able to explain these methods without focusing unnecessarily on theoretical aspects or worry about derivations. They were also very good about patiently working with me to clean up some data problems that I unwittingly brought with me.”
