Good balance between theoretical concepts and practical exercises
“J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’expertise en formation de Geovariances lors d’une première expérience d’un cours sur l’estimation des ressources minérales déroulé à Dakar en juillet 2017 en deux modules : Fondamentaux et Perfectionnement.
Les géologues de l’assistance intervenant dans des projets de maturités variables ont également fortement apprécié ces 5 jours de formation qui offraient une bonne complémentarité entre le rappel des notions théoriques et mathématiques et les outils pratiques et optimaux portés dans le logiciel. Ils ont pu ainsi compléter leurs connaissances sur les notions de variabilité spatiale, d’estimation et de prise en compte du risque géologique. Ils ont pu aussi apprécier la pertinence des outils géostatistiques de modélisation et d’estimation qui sont appliqués pour chaque niveau de maturité d’un projet minier: exploration, modélisation des corps minéralisé, estimation du potentiel et évaluation du risque, pertinence qu’ils ont pu rapprocher à la spécificité de leurs cas propres.”
