Isatis.neo’s latest version, 2024.12, introduces a tool for Multivariate Data Imputation, which completes incomplete heterotopic datasets. Additionally, the Grade Tonnage Curves feature has been redesigned to offer greater flexibility in crafting resource reports tailored specifically to your company’s requirements.

Generate the specific resource reports you need
[Standard and Mining] The Grade-Tonnage Curves tool has been refreshed to offer exceptional flexibility in customizing resource tables and curves that can be easily copied into reports, meeting your specific company requirements.
With a newly designed interface similar to the Exploratory Data Analysis and Estimation Validation tools, it simplifies your work by enabling you to:
– Compute multiple tables and curves simultaneously.
– Duplicate parameters across different datasets.
– Easily define several categories or domains.
– Display curves derived from macro simulations as an envelope.
– Highlight the mean or a specific realization of your choice.
Fill out incomplete multivariate datasets
A new Multivariate Data Imputation task helps complete incomplete datasets and transform a heterotopic dataset into a homotopic one, where each variable of interest is defined for every sample. This feature is especially helpful before conducting multivariate transformations, including PCA, MAF, or PPMT, that require homothetic datasets. This innovative approach offers several algorithms: a basic one that assigns the mean value, a collocated simulation algorithm for linear correlations, and a Gaussian mixture model for more complex correlations.
Exchange data more easily
– [Mining] The import feature for Supervisor variograms has been enhanced to handle multiple domains and variables more effectively.
– [Mining] The SEG-Y Import interface for loading seismic data and the LAS Import interface for loading well logging data are now available in the Mining Edition of Isatis.neo. Additionally, you can export grid data to SEG-Y format from this edition.
– [Standard and Petroleum] The Eclipse Import and Export interfaces now allow you to specify the numerical value for undefined entries, improving their handling.
– Additional Python packages have been included in the software distribution: netCDF4 to read and write NetCDF files, xarray for multi-dimensional data analysis, and pyarray for interoperability with big data tools.
More quality-of-life improvements
– The Exploratory Data Analysis feature now allows you to choose which directional variograms to show and create a lighter display tailored to your needs.
– A new Simulation Post-processing task allows quick computation of statistics, including the mean, confidence intervals, and the probability of exceeding a threshold, without recomputing all simulation realizations, thus saving time.
– The Quick Interpolation task now allows faults to be considered during the interpolation process by using them as screens when searching for neighbors during estimation.
– Negative weights in kriging can be automatically reset to zero by selecting the appropriate option. This ensures that the estimated values remain within the original range.
– The Geostatistical Sets Explorer now enables the display of quasi-experimental SMU Gaussian variograms obtained from the Gaussian change of support. This feature lets you perform a quality check on the automatically fitted model from the Support Correction task. You can edit the SMU Gaussian variogram model and adjust the associated parameters if necessary.
– The Statistics by Category feature has been enhanced to enable the definition of categories using macro selections, including cases with overlapping domains.
